Idneo is a company specialised in engineering, research and development of new products for a wide range of sectors. From its facilities in Viladecavalls (Barcelona), Idneo develops turnkey projects based on a strong commitment to innovation and technology.

The company was set up as the result of a 50-50 joint venture between FICOSA and COMSA EMTE. It thereby supports, on the one hand, FICOSA's technology transfer to sectors such as transport, aerospace, communications, railways, renewable energies and health technologies and on the other hand, COMSA EMTE in integrating new product and service development for its main business lines. In turn, Idneo offers its skills and facilities to other companies, from conceiving the design to turnkey delivery of the product or project to the end customer.

COMSA EMTE is a group with over 120 years' experience and constant presence in 14 countries. The company offers society complete services involving infrastructures, engineering and systems, environment, services and logistics, concessions and renewable energies. FICOSA, on the other hand, is dedicated to research, development, production and marketing systems and components for cars, commercial and industrial vehicles. Founded in 1949 and working in 19 countries, it is the official supplier and technology partner for the majority of vehicle manufacturers throughout the world.
